ARTICLE: Meet the Team – Raven, Content Creator & Social Media Specialist at DAMAGE iD

At DAMAGE iD, the people behind the platform are just as important as the technology itself. In this “Meet the Team” spotlight, we’re introducing Raven, our Content Creator and Social Media Specialist, who plays a key role in shaping how the world sees and understands DAMAGE iD.

Raven’s work helps translate complex fleet inspection technology into clear, engaging, and accessible content for customers across industries.

Getting to Know Raven

When asked to describe herself in three words, Raven chose: kind, hard-working, and caring.

Her professional background is anything but one-dimensional. Over the years, she has worked in roles including executive assistant, customer success manager, business development manager, and content creator. Today at DAMAGE iD, she focuses specifically on content creation and social media strategy.

Her journey into this field started during a major life shift. After working as a call center representative during the COVID-19 pandemic, she began searching for something new after experiencing a toxic work environment. That search led her to a staffing agency, which placed her as an executive assistant. From there, her skill set expanded quickly, leading to multiple roles and referrals from clients impressed by her work.

Her very first job was also in a call center, handling incoming and outgoing calls and chats for over 20 companies.

One surprising fact people often learn about Raven is that she is a mother of seven children.

Outside of work, her ideal day off is simple: a clean home, no obligations, and time spent with her family doing something fun together.

Fun Side of Raven

If she could only keep one social media platform, it would be Snapchat, since it is her most-used platform for staying connected with family.

Her music taste is just as dynamic as her workday, ranging from Five for Fighting in the morning to rap, hip hop, pop, metal, and even dad rock throughout the day.

When it comes to structure, Raven prefers planning over spontaneity, especially in both content creation and daily life, as it helps reduce stress and anxiety.

Her most-used emoji is the heart eyes emoji, which fits her naturally loving and expressive personality.

If DAMAGE iD had a mascot, she imagines it would simply be… a car.

Life as a Content Creator at DAMAGE iD

Raven’s day-to-day work includes researching the industry, conducting interviews, writing content, and creating visual assets.

One of the biggest challenges she faces is keeping content fresh and unique while balancing multiple categories and collaboration efforts across teams.

Her biggest warning label for the job?
“Caution: trends and social media are constantly changing.”

When it comes to turning a technical product like DAMAGE iD into engaging content, her focus is making sure the right message reaches the right audience.

She defines a strong post as something that stands out and captures attention.

Currently, she finds LinkedIn to be the most effective platform for DAMAGE iD, where early posting has already built strong traction.

The hardest part of her role? Consistently coming up with new content ideas in the B2B SaaS space.

Inside DAMAGE iD

What excites Raven most about working at DAMAGE iD is being part of a growing company where her role continues to evolve alongside it.

To her, DAMAGE iD is a platform that helps businesses track vehicle condition and document damage clearly, making it especially valuable for rental companies, delivery fleets, and other shared-use vehicle operations.

One feature she believes more people should pay attention to is the platform’s ongoing development of AI capabilities as the technology continues to evolve.

Although this is her first time working in content creation within this industry, she has already seen strong engagement and enjoys watching analytics improve over time.

In her view, DAMAGE iD is changing fleet operations by making vehicle inspections easier, more efficient, and more cost-effective.

Growth & Reflection

Her favorite type of content to create so far has been the “Meet the Team” series, where she gets to highlight the people behind the brand.

Since joining, she has gained valuable industry knowledge in areas such as Amazon DSP operations, rental car workflows, and fleet management systems.

One surprising insight she’s learned about marketing is that there is rarely one “right” approach, and opinions often vary widely across the industry.

Looking ahead, she believes social media will continue to play a larger role in the fleet and SaaS space as more companies embrace digital communication.

Her advice to anyone entering content creation in tech is simple:
Do it. It’s fun, fast-moving, and constantly evolving with new tools and ideas.
